The Running order is under Events / Colorado Test

Hello, ALL

Just want to clear up a couple of things for the Colorado Test. First of all the News letter went out late and I know some of you are just getting your news Letters. Please call Brenda and let her know 303-681-5227 and she will take your entry.

2nd this is a full test test both days. CPR, APR, MPR. If you can only come one day we will take your entry for that day. We will allow rerun CPR and APR to be added to Sundays Test.

We have 3 directors to the board term's expiring the end of 2010. Those directors are Bruce Smiley, Troy Callanan, and Vic Rompa.

Any member in good standing interested in one of these three director positions needs to submit a one page document with their name, address, phone numbers, email address, a description of their qualifications, their dogs experience, their pointing lab experience, their desire for serving the APLA membership, and any objectives they would like to implement during their term on the board. Additionally, they need to include at least 10 current members supporting your nomination along with their address, phone number, and email address. Their nomination needs to be send to and received by the APLA secretarty, Doug Powell, 103 N. Birch Circle, Janesville, IA 50647,  dougpow@iowatelecom.net and received no later than September 30th, 2010.

 The APLA Board has decided to put special emphasis on the Unsportsmanlike Conduct portion of the rule book at all 2010 tests. All test officials and participants must be familiar with the entire rule book, including the Unsportsmanlike Conduct section. Test officials, including HT Chair, HT Secretary, Judges and Board Members will document instances of unsportsmanlike conduct and forward them to the APLA Board to be dealt with in accordance with our rule book and bylaws. Also, Unsportsmanlike Conduct applies to handler conduct towards a dog for kicking, striking, otherwise roughly handling a dog. Any questions regarding Unsportsmanlike Conduct or any portion of our rule book can be forwarded to a board member or asked at any Judges/Handlers seminar.
