APLA BOD MEETING MINUTES

February 16, 2010

        I.            Meeting brought to order by President Dale Merritt at 7:03 pm (CDT).

a.     In attendance were Mike Bachkosky, Troy Callanan, Larry Kimble, Ed McNally, Doug Powell, Vic Rompa, and Bruce Smiley.   Dale Swiderski joined the meeting at 7:40 pm.

      II.            Treasurer’s Report

a.     Year End Balance:  $29,867.17

b.     Checking:  $18,621.00

c.     CD:  $11,246.00

d.     Year-to-Date Memberships:  55

    III.            Secretary’s Report

a.     Membership cards with stickers and koozie are going out as received.

b.     Contacted Sandy Abernathy and establishing a working relationship.

     V.            Old Business

a.     Motion made by Larry Kimble to approve Mark Schmiedeshoff as a Master Judge. Seconded, PASSED.

   VI.            New Business

a.     There was a short discussion about the forum topic of “Planting Birds at Hunt Tests”. The Board felt the topic should be sent to the Rules Committee for discussion and recommendation.
