Spring Hunt Test Premiums - Sunday, February 28, 2010

Spring Hunt Test Premiums are available under the Events Tab. The spring entry fees have been lowered for all stakes. To see this review the hunt test entry form for one of the spring hunt tests.

OFFICER & DIRECTOR ELECTION RESULTS - Wednesday, December 02, 2009

The board of directors met on December 2 voted to approve the officers and directors elected as of the November 30th election closing date. The ballots were counted at Holly Cart's, the APLA secretary, home and witnessed by 2 APLA members at 7pm December 1. The term for all is 2010 and 2011.

President - Dale Merritt

Secretary - Doug Powell

Treasurer - Larry Kimble

Directors - Dale Swiderski, Mike Bachkosky, Ed McNally

As, the president was re-elected, there was a need for the board to appoint a director to fill the ex-president's board position. There was tie vote for the second director's position. The board voted the appointment to the ex-president's position of the tie in the second director's position.

APLA BOD MEETING MINUTES

January 27, 2010

I. Meeting brought to order by President Dale Merritt at 7:05 pm (CDT).

a. In attendance were Mike Bachkosky, Troy Callanan, Larry Kimble, Doug Powell, Bruce Smiley, and Dale Swiderski. Absent were Ed McNally and Vic Rompa.

II. Treasurer’s Report

a. A detailed report will be sent to all BOD members with the completion of reconciliation of the last bank statement.

b. Currently a balance of $31,192.00

c. Recommendation of lowering hunt test fees by $10 for CPR, $15 for APR, and $20 for MPR. Discussion followed, moved and seconded to accept the recommendation PASSED.

III. Secretary’s Report

a. A newsletter will be going out to all members the week of February 15^th. A request for a biography and picture of each BOD member was requested to be sent to the Secretary to be included in the newsletter, the picture and contact information will also be used on the website “Contact Us” tab.

IV. Committee Reports

a. Hunt Test

i. Six applications were received with one being withdrawn. All five applications were presented to the BOD with the recommendation of approving all tests. Moved and seconded to accept the recommendations PASSED

ii. Dates/Locations/HT Chairs

1. April 17^th & 18^th/ Roberts, IL/Jeff Burks

2. April 24^th & 25^th/ Teal Lodge, Orchard, CO/ Vic Rompa (RMPLC)

3. May 1^st & 2^nd/ K&L Kennels, Higginsville, MO/ Larry Kimble

4. May 22^nd & 23^rd/ Granite Springs Lodge, Alexandria, SD/ Andy Schoeberl

5. May 29^th & 30^th/ Tiger Mtn. Training Ctr., Ellensburg, WA/ John Greer

iii. HTRS system is being refined and enhanced with the updates expected to be in place for the spring tests.

V. Appointments to the 2010 Committees will be at the February meeting. Committees to be filled will be:

a. Rules Committee

b. Judges Committee

c. Hunt Test Committee

d. Web Committee

e. Hall of Fame Committee

VI. The non-profit status has been finalized and has been moved from the state of Illinois to Colorado.

VII. Next BOD meeting , Tuesday, February 16^th, 2010 @ 7:00 CDT.

VIII. Motion to Adjourn at 8:05 pm CDT
