| 2010 FALL HUNT TEST SCHEDULE APPROVED - Wednesday, June 23, 2010The approved fall hunt test schedule and HT chairs are as listed below. All fall tests will be 2 day tests with CPR and MPR on Sat. and CPR re-runs, APR, and MPR on Sun., except Colorado, which also has APR on Sat. Look for hunt test premiums on the website by July 15th, or sooner.

| Annoucement Regarding Hunt Test Conduct - Sunday, April 18, 2010 The APLA Board has decided to put special emphasis on the Unsportsmanlike Conduct portion of the rule book at all 2010 tests. All test officials and participants must be familiar with the entire rule book, including the Unsportsmanlike Conduct section. Test officials, including HT Chair, HT Secretary, Judges and Board Members will document instances of unsportsmanlike conduct and forward them to the APLA Board to be dealt with in accordance with our rule book and bylaws. Also, Unsportsmanlike Conduct applies to handler conduct towards a dog for kicking, striking, otherwise roughly handling a dog. Any questions regarding Unsportsmanlike Conduct or any portion of our rule book can be forwarded to a board member or asked at any Judges/Handlers seminar. |

November Meeting Minutes

Subject: November 18, 2008 official meeting minutes reported by Holly Cart
Meeting called to order by Dale Merritt. Those in attendance were Dale Merritt, Larry Kimble, Mike Bachkosky, Jeff Ports, Stu Wange, and Holly Cart. A quorum was declared with 6 members present.
Not in attendance were Joe Bubulka, Brice Romero, and Doug Powell.
Treasure Report: 1/1/08 balance $27,961.51
11/18/08 balance $24,951.02
There were over $3000 in unpaid expenses yet to be paid
Secretary Report Holly Cart reported our ribbon count for the end of the year. All Spring and Fall HT certificates have been mailed.
Old Business:
Web page report: Larry reported that they are working on updating the website. Completion expected by year end.
Clothing Update: Clothing is now available on the website.
New Business:
Fall apprentice judges approved to judge by the board.

Hunt Test committee Fall results:
It was discussed and motion made and passed by vote that HT secretaries will send any money from HT entries to treasure via priority mail w/ signature required. No cash will be sent for HT entries or memberships.
Election results:
Holly Cart reported that 113 ballots where received and counted on Nov. 13th 2008. Bruce Smiley, Vic Rompa, and Troy Callanan where on the ballot for the 3 open board positions. The board approved all 3 for the board positions.
Stu brought up committees. It was discussed that in Jan of each year, all committees will be reviewed and assigned. This was approved by the board through a motion made and vote passed.
Holly Cart stated that new ribbons should be ordered for the coming hunt test season to get the end of year discount. We will be discarding old CPR ribbons that do not have the green and white.
Larry Kimble and Dale Merritt proposed that owners of any 4X GMPR dogs would be presented with a jacket with the APLA logo and that dogs titles with owners name. Also a engraved glass plaque with dogs picture, name and titles. This was voted on and failed by one vote. This will be brought to the board at a future date.
Meeting was adjourned.
