| 2011 APLA Hall of Fame Ballots Completed - Sunday, January 01, 2012Congratulations and we welcome the following dogs as recieving the most APLA member votes for the 2011 Hall of Fame inductions. It was close on a few and the ballots were counted three times to be certain. We welcome the following new APLA HOF dogs:

APLA March 11, 2008 Minutes
I Open Meeting – 7:04 Dale, Larry, Brice, Mike, Myself, Stu, Doug, Jeff, Joe II Secretary’s report – a. Newsletters were mailed last Thursday. b. Question what info I will need to get to Hunt test chairs – info to me then pass to Sandy for database, I print certificates. c. How Ribbons shipping handled – case by case basis- dale good – get ribbons d. Must have signed book sent to Sec. from Hunt Test Chair Mike / Jeff all in favor III . Treasurer’s Report a. $27961.51 beginning balance b. 28321.99 current balance c. $140.00 APLA bucks redeemed on membership d. Membership down 36% from last year $4055 post on website dues are due now – will be done by Larry Shawn/mike all in favor IV Hunt Test Comm. Report a.Spring test status judges set, all looks well at this point, newsletter and website have the info posted at this time. V Old Business a. Judges list update – Joe Wetzel APR, Bruce Smiley Master, Mike Bach. APR, Kevin Eskam CPR, Jay Van Luehen CPR, Gary Crane APR Shawn/Larry all in favor b. Data base update – corrections via website, lime creek data will be combined and lcd will be eliminated in new database so all data looks the same. Rion looking into updating forum to support new browsers w/o loosing history. c. Newsletter status – see II a. VI New Business a. Hunt test equipment – full set of equipment (cp, apr, master) needed in Minnesota given to Doug Powell, tackle box to Holly in Ohio Mike/Stu all in favor b. Inventories not getting to Mike after each season, needs to be improved by Hunt test chairs. c. CPR rule change Judges need better system to not pass a poor performing dog. Take out statement of point only one bird. Score a 2 or better in each category to pass. 21 points needed to pass test. Shawn/Stu 7-1 Doug opposed Larry will notify hunt test chairs of changes, Joe will update website, Inform members at the seminars. New rule books will be mail to all members once wording is finalized. d. APLA merchandise Stu and Doug will check and see if we can find another supplier. Joe will pull link off of the website temporarily. e. Jeff Ports, Dale Merritt – Rules Committee Will ask Scott Dunn to serve f. Judges comm. – Shawn, Doug Will ask Brenda g. Joe Wenzel would like to link travel through APLA website – no action taken h. Joe Wenzel would like to produce APLA t-shirts for the spring tests – Joe Bubulka motion Stu second to allow t-shirts with clothing comm. Approval Stu, Joe, Brice Against Dale, Larry, Doug, Shawn, Mike Dale will draft a letter to inform Joe of the decision.
