| 2011 APLA Hall of Fame Ballots Completed - Sunday, January 01, 2012Congratulations and we welcome the following dogs as recieving the most APLA member votes for the 2011 Hall of Fame inductions. It was close on a few and the ballots were counted three times to be certain. We welcome the following new APLA HOF dogs:

APLA Board Meeting
August 18, 2005
The meeting at convened at 7:00 CDT. A quorum was present. Board members present were: Jeff Burks, Moira Sheehan, Larry Kimble, Dale Merritt, Paul Knutson, Jeff Ports, and Wendell Smith. Rick Hastings joined the meeting late. Shawn Hoover was unable to attend. Minutes were taken by Larry Kimble due to Moira Sheehan’s heavy work schedule.
New Website Development Update by Moira Sheehan
Numerous attempts contact to Paul Gieselhagen to release the website’s name has failed in spite of a prior agreement for this happen. A motion to use the new website name of www.apla.us was made by Dale Merritt and seconded by Moira Sheehan passed unanimously. Jeff Ports was appointed to get with the website designer and develop a timeline for the new website.
Fall 2005 Hunt Test Schedule and Judges
Larry Kimble reported on the status of hunt tests and judge coverage. All hunt tests now have judge coverage. For development of new judges we have one master and several advanced and certified apprentice judges for this fall. Our first hunt test of the fall in Brookings, SD, has 25 entries.
Spring 2005 Hunt Test Certificates
Moira Sheehan reported that all spring certificates were just mailed out. If members fail to get their 2005 certificates please contact her. Moira will now start working on missing 2004 certificates.
Pointing Lab Database
Approval has been attained for it to be transferred to the new website. There is a gap in the data base information from part of 2003 until present.
National Event
Discussion of the format of a national event was held.
