Got my blood pumping Steve. I leave Friday to CA for a wild hog hunt and giant squid fishing expedition. I can't wait!!

Leroy- Hogs are built a little different then deer. The entire body is practically the digestive system with the heart and small lung area pushed way up towards the front. A lot of people shoot them behind and below the ear and thats a great way to go. If doing a heart lung shot you want to be thru or slightly ahead of the front leg- NOT BEHIND IT AT ALL. Oakcreek - You bet I am gonna try! They are very irregular in their visits so it is hit and miss. I also may try to trap them.

Ks passed new laws in spring of 2006. They are trying to discourage people from propagating these things and selling hunts because of the damage they cause-So they made it illegal for anyone but the landowner to hunt them-big fines, like $5k per hog if caught....Bacon Aint that good!
