You hunt pheasant and quail!!! We had another great weekend of quail and pheasant hunting. A big storm came through and dropped 7" of snow. We managed to get into lots of bobwhites, blue quail and pheasants. At one location we watched over 100 wild pheasant fly out of a huge plum thicket.
It was a great weekend, with only one small set back. Sage managed to tangle with a barbed wire fence and she cut her chest. There was not a vet within 100 miles as they had all went to Oklahoma City for a vet conference. We bandaged her up and took her in this morning for stiches. She will be back in action for a season ending hunt in New Mexico in two weeks.
The attached photo shows a few of the pheasant we took yesterday. The dogs are Tosha (black) and Rance. They both did a great job pointing in the snow! |

Way to get after it Shawn!
Pi and I go duck hunting! We've got 6ft of snow in the last month and hunted each storm. Flat wore her out, Thursday afternoon through yesterday.

I guess since we both live here in CO, I don't have any excuses for not getting out since before the new year! Looks like you've done a pretty good job of adapting to the conditions!

Snow and bird hunting just seem to go hand and hand!!!
We managed 24 quail and 2 pheasant on Saturday during the storm, but did not take any pictures due to poor lighting and lots of snow at the time, but as you can see Sunday was beautiful!!

I will just keep the reports of our last weekend of the season, out of state, ultra secrete location from you when it happens!!! I will give you a hint... it is 623.49 miles from Booker, and it will be for a new species of quail that we have never shot before! |

| I agree that snow and hunting go together, but the drifts are still pretty deep out where I go. I talked to a few guys who actually put on their snow shoes last weekend! |

Sweet Texan, how old is the little guy? That duck is almost as big as he is! 
Way to get after em keskam. you hit it pretty darn close to the wire and sunset. Nice to have that in your backyard!

He is 11 weeks old and already been on one pheasant hunt and one goose hunt . He is also showing alot of point on our daily walks and my wife's peacocks and chickens .

| With 7'', I'm doing a dance and looking to get outside. It seems to snow every weekend with bitter cold. I can't wait for some heat. Good thing ducks like the cold. |

This looks like a fairytail, we never get much snow until the hunting season is ALL over. Go figure. I didn't see any ice fishing pics??? lol
