We went hunting for the weekend. Saturday (21st) we got into a bunch of Geese on our pond as well as a couple ducks. On Sunday, we were fogged in, and couldn't get the geese to break down through the fog, but we did get a couple more ducks. Because of the fog, we decided to go Upland Hunting (at about 9 AM). We got into a small batch of Pheasants (7 hens and 2 Cocks) in a small cattail patch in the middle of a wheat field and got both of the roosters. Then we hunted weed patches and got into some dandy quail hunting (got 12 total).
The versatile PL....... Geese, Ducks, Pheasants and Quail -- all in just one short weekend.
