Hey, Doc
Ya same here in MN,Early goose hunting and bear hunting are the 1st to open here. Getting tired of the heat, makes fishing tough. By the way I got my pup, ended up getting HIM from Blackjack Kennels, (tubs/sixx) He's doing well, or at least I think. Depending on where we are but in back yard he will retreive to hand 99% of time no cord. Can't really get him to stay /hold but maybe to young, I physically hold him but he's a monster...lol Might send him to school as I believe I my not have the ability to tap his capabilities. Thinking on sending him to early gun bird training, as I HOPE this will relive my stress on gun shyness. I just don't want to ruin him,,, but he sure make life interesting. He really like the water, thanks for the advice on the timing on getting a pup, as winter would have been bad. Not only water but crate training would have sucked.
Thanks Spencer
