I'm glad that you like it! I haven't talked to him in a while, so I didn't know if he had it done yet, but glad to see that he did.

I still can't get over the length of that tail!

It's a little over 36" from head to tail. Was the 4th bird taken in the 4 bird limit. Seemed like everything just went
perfect. Got a quick shot off, it dropped dead but yet I don't recall seeing a feather come off. Easy quick pickup and
delivery by the old dawg and i knew right away that it was the one to mount. We limited out before 11am that day!Been wanting to mount a pheasant for years-but all too often ya blow the heck out of the really good ones.

Pic next to yard stick is from when I took it out of the freezer to give to Blake.

Heck Jay, I never knew that your brother was a Taxidermist..... I would have been MUCH nicer to you if I had known that....... By the way, great looking bird and mount!

It looks like I will be in Memphis on the 24th and 25th, so we will have to try to hook up again.

Yeah, that's what I thought.

I'll still be working 3rd shift, so I'll have all day to play. Just let me know when.

If I fall a sleep, just blow your duck call.

Very nice mount and bird. Hard to tell from the last picture, were his spurs very long?
