How did you all do in Ks? Hunted this year with a new group-The bird numbers did not seem very high around Beloit where we were. Some crops were still in where we were so it might improve. 10 to 12 guys doing the line walk we took around 22 birds between Sat and 1/2 day Sunday. Ol' Cletis and Chief both got to taste some feathers so I was completely content with that.  Pup got to experience new things for sure and was only jumping on everybody else and their dogs for a little while till he settled down.     Broke away from the group to let the dogs do some real hunting- one on one and the old man put us right on some roosters in a crp field.

Hello Steve, I wish I could find 22 pheasant in a day here in Indiana  ALthough quail and pheasantcomes in this weekend  As long as I can somewhat get over this bronchitis and acute sinusitis were gonna put Belle out on some wild quail as well as Rufus thsi weekend. Got some ground that is full of them supposedly. Only thing shot on it in years has been rabbits so I plan on thinning out a few members of the quail population  Glad to see the old man is there to give Jr. a education  Craig

Hunted about a day and a half. Just my Dad, my son and I.

Other than the fact that it was way too warm, had a great couple days of hunting. Saw lots of birds, shot 5 on Sat and 2 on Sunday morning.

Western KS could use some rain/snow!
