| Alright ! Bring It ON !
----------------------------------------------
I finished setting up our Duck/Goose - pond/field yesterday.
We hunt out of Ameristep Out House blinds. They will stay up all season.
To me, they stand out quite a bit, but we've used them for the last two years, and the birds seem to think the blinds are invisible .
I'll leave the Duck decoys out all season. I'll also leave the Goose decoys out all season too, but I may need to change the layout periodically. We'll be shooting out of the South side of the blinds for Ducks on the pond and out of the North side for Geese in the field.
Just as I was leaving, a nice family group of Geese lit in the field -- Right on the X And a bunch of Mallards and a few Teal had already lit on the pond. Our season opens October 13th. Can't wait
Oh, there were about 80 Quail in the field when I first got there.
