06/27/2007 9:10 PM Alert
I am probably going to be going up to Michigan (Rock in the UP)to go deer hunting in the rifle season.  I was hoping that some of the members on the forum could give me some insight in what to expect in the weather conditions in the second half of November?  Are the National forest normally pretty crowded?

Also is the grouse hunting worth taking the dog for or should I not take the chance of turning my dog loose up ther during the rifle season.

Thanks for any help that I can get.

Thanks
Jason

A few things
First late november deer season, small game is closed till the first of december.
Second that part of the UP could have feet of snow or nothing at all.
Third that is also wolf country you may see, hear you may not.
All in all great part of the upper good luck chaceing bambi's dad.
Oh i almost forgot there are not many hunters on NFL land during late season.
