We had a Picnic Test yesterday in Spokane. There are always a few people who have never seen a Lab point, and the word always spreads through the attendees that, "You need to watch Doc when he runs Casey in the Upland Test".
As always (even running him crosswind yesterday -- the wind was blowing pretty hard too), he went on a nice solid point about 15+ yards from the bird. The judge left him on point for quite awhile, for people to watch, before he launched the bird.
Even with the crappy weather we had yesterday, it always stimulates a lot of conversation after we run Upland.
