03/25/2008 1:28 PM Alert

We'll be traveling back home to Southern IL for our spring break visit tomorrow from CO.  My brother back home has a potential set up in W. KY for me to get Bow exposed to birds for the first time.  The individual is familiar with pointing labs, I believe he's quite a bit more than familiar, so that should help.

Bow is 5 months old now.  Due to all this white stuff we've been doing "the walk" on a regular basis, but retrieving and the beginnings of Obedience are the extent of what we've done.  Other than the occasional bird that flies overhead while walking, I don't know if he has a clue what a bird is.

Don't really know why I'm apprehensive about the results.  My original plan for the dog was waterfowl, but it turned out I bought from pointing lab lines.  I've now become more interested in those possibilities.
