I train by myself so often that I would really like to go to something this year.  Is anyone planning to attend a clinic or seminar in 2008?   Where and when?  Is there hope of the Supermodel giving another clinic this year?

I spent 5 minutes trying to think of what other Supermodel there was....

I may be up in Minnesota in May, if they don't have someone else who answers emails better than I slated, and I plan a handful here in Colorado thus far. You are ALWAYS welcome..

Great! Looking forward to finding out the dates, and Colorado is closer than Minnesota...one of the perks of my crazy commuting lifestyle is lots of frequent flyer miles, so I'll see you somewhere!

Hooli,
If we get the supermodel to do a seminar in Minnesota, I fully expect you to show up and be apart of this...Pink shirts will be required for certain individuals...

Dave now that she's retired from the APLA sec position who knows what her next titles will be..super model, princess, author, part time dog trainer...she's livin life on a new angle right now...

Stu, I'd love to. It would be such fun to put faces to names and finally get to meet everybody. Hopefully the schedule gods will all be in alignment!

Ooooh-skeeters. I am a mosquito magnet, and their visits mean I have to take lots of Benadryl, which means naps. I vote for pre-skeeters, too!

skeeters?? there arent any skeeters in Minnesota anymore...4 years of near drought in some areas have virtually wiped out the pesky creaters...(hope we dont get a wet spring after saying that) nobody has issues with ticks thou do they???

I have no idea what the date may be, thats up to Julie and the MNPL Club...but I'm the first one thats gonna sign up and be there...

No Alex, I don't see the ticks and misquitos being too much of a problem because the #@!# CHIGGERS take up all the territory! My first introduction to those delightful creatures was last year with you guys. Been everywhere and never had a single one, but one trip up north made up for all of that. What do you do, dress up in plastic or what? I forgot all about that until now..... hmmmm.......

Hmmm. Ticks, chiggers, and the occasional mosquito. You know, I'm just not that rugged. Maybe it's because I don't wear pink. Colorado is sounding better and better all the time...

When ya take a swat at a Mosquito on your arm-and realize as you do that he was really biting the Tick that already was sucking your blood-Thats what they call the "Grand Slam of Swatting" up there in Minnesota! Cuz later on you will realize that beside being bit by a tick and poked by the skeeter you also got chiggers cus the tick had the chiggers on it ..heheh  Now I hear the best protection is wearing Nylons! Maybe Stu will show us his...

Coldwater Creek,

If you go to page 5 of the general forum and scroll down to the post of "Julie & Mallard"........ You'll see that she has taken on a new alais and is now well on her way into a new carreer.

I had heard that Tyra Banks is looking over her portfolio and is contacting her agent about a spot on Americas Next Top Model.........  Could just be a rumor?

Julie, if you need a test dog this sumer........ the big yellow dog would love to come down a work with you.

Let's pool some resources and entice Julie to do a summer seminar in the NW! We've got some PL folks here in OR, and I know there's some in WA and CA too... anyone got the grounds? I know, wishful thinking I'm gonna catch up with you one of these days Julie!

I love that idea, Matt! I will e-mail Julie, and see what is required for her to put in a seminar, and we'll see if we can put it together.

Hooli...I dont thinnk Matts idea is a good one...if you have one in the NW..then you wont come to Minnesotat, and I wont finally get to meet you..

Steve, I'm starting to worry about you...how would you know that nylons will keep chiggers off you???

Julie, to set the record straight..those werent chiggers that were bitting you, they were "no see em's"..only time I've ever heard of anyone getting bitten by chiggers around here is when the went skinny dipping and got bit by sand chiggers..... HMM now that I think about it.. Julie didnt show up for the "circle of wisdom"

I imagine getting a date with the Supermodel for this year is not likely, Stu, but I did e-mail to ask. Between her schedule, and trying to find suitable grounds and birds, it's not an easy thing to put together fast. The NW is a big place, and I'll need a poll to see how far people will drive, and all that. Most probably I'll receive word from her "people" and beg to be slotted for next year sometime-that's how these things usually go.

I don't do bugs. I can handle lots of stuff-blood & guts and all that-but the idea of a tick imbedded in my skin sends me into the shower for a full cavity search. If I ever found one, I am sure the resulting screaming would not only be embarassing, it would probably make the paramedics I called to extract it deaf. I even have trouble taking them off the dogs. I have been bitten by chiggers-don't need to do that again! We'll see. I have some pretty good bug stuff-it has managed to keep mosquitoes off me so far-so maybe I'll be brave.

Marlana, I have all the grounds needed to bring Julie here to the NW. Either here in western Washington or in north Idaho in Sandpoint. I'll put up Mallard as her test dog and there would be no way she could pass it up. Mallard misses you Julie. That should do it Marlana.

Cool, Big R! I have land, too, but getting there isn't practical...it's in Canada...

Well, Pac NW people? If we build it,will you come? WA or ID, or either? (I'm voting for WA). Post up and be counted!
