Hey guys!! I am looking to find a group of guys here in Iowa to do some training! I would love to have a group to do some upland and retriever work!! I am located around Ames, and have alot of places to train around here! I would also love to do some hunting with other pointing lab guys. Matt- I got an old dog tha can probably hunt just a little- And a young pup to introduce to wild pheasants-so I can't contribute a lot of dog effort but would come up out of KC for a day trip. When does your season open?

Season opens last weekend in October, I usually start hunting alot around the 3rd week of November and then again around Dec 20th thru Jan 10th. We hunt hard and usually fair well. How is the quail population in Mo and KS this year???

I have not seen many quail in years in Ks and usually just let them go when I do find some. Brett- That old van is usually stuffed full of stuff! Now next weekend I fly out to Ohio to drive back a van I just bought on ebay- And this one is a 4x4 ! Ya Baby!! We can probably fit ya in that one at least before I fill it full of junk!
