Max is about 16 weeks old and is out of LeRoys Thunder x Juice breeding. I've never trained a retriever before but he is making this process really easy. He has been swimming since the day I got him. We have a lot of small ponds in our neighborhood to take him to. If he doesn't hunt I might have a dog for those big air contest. I don't know what to expect from labs, but i can throw his bumper 30 ft into the water and I havnt had to swim after it yet. He will track the pheasant wing I got him, but I can't get him to realy go on point yet. Hopefully I can get my wife to post some pics for me on here. Just wanted to give a quick thanks to LeRoy, couldn't be happier with the pup

Glad to hear Max is doing well. I would do away with the pheasant wing at this point. Live birds.........strong flyers that he cant catch.......that would be the next step.

I really like the female I kept..........doing very well.
