The test dates are set and staring us in the face. So where is everyone going to make the trip to? I'm going to head back out to the midwest and run in the first Iowa test, and I'll be running and possibly working at the PA test. How about everyone else?

My journal has "Iowa - September & October" listed. It depends on how the dogs train, but expenses may be more of a problem.

I'll be at the CO test helping where I can Saturday and or Sunday. Then Pi and I'll be at the same test you're attending on Sept 1st Doc. Except we'll be going for 6 mo through the end February and maybe in to March for the snows. Still haven't figured out if we'll be heading to the high country for grouse for the week or holding off for the teal season to use the first days of our vacation....if my knee holds up we may do both. We'll be out for the dove shoot opening day for sure....I don't like to plan too far in advance, it seems like the best hunts and times in the outdoors are somewhat spur of the moment.

I've had a question out there on the training forum for you for a couple of weeks now Doc. It's under check cord length, if you see this tak;e a look, I'm curious.......Congrats on the pup, I'm sure you and the mrs. are pumped!

Stella and I will at least make it to Washington... although I always wanted to make one of those CO tests! Looks doubtful for this year.

Yup -- Going to make the trip (need a few days out of the office anyway). I'm hoping to find somebody who wants to trade some nice MN Walleyes for some doggie supplements. I sure do miss those midwest fish.

There is a pic of Scarlet and her new kids on the "other" site --- but since I don't like the hassle of shrinking pics etc, I've not posted it here.

Because of the hassle of posting a "hot link" on this site, I'll give you the URL -- you'll have to paste it into your browser . This clock is accurate to the second ! !

Mi. for me, only if i can get dog issues squared away. Marking issues with one dog, and upland issues with the other. Both dogs will be running master ( maybe). The young dog is a go getter, however he is very young, and still likes to catch birds. THE OLDER DOG IS SOLID AS A ROCK ON THE BIRDS, but lacks confidence lately on marks. Very frustrating.
