Wow! Better save some $$ to run! If there will be that many tests, that would be awesome!

Wow! A triple header in CO! That's gotta be a first. Looks like I've got some work to do! I'll see you all there!

I also received an email today that my AKC club (Grand Valley Retreiver Club) in Grand Junction, CO will be holding their first LICENSED Hunt Test at the end of September. It will be nice to have a test on this side of the state with fuel prices what they are. If anyone is interested, let me know and I can get you club info and dates when they become more available.

Well, there it is. Bummer (for me) about the WA test-I was hoping it would be the following weekend. Looks like more frequent flyer miles will be needed if we are going to try for APR this fall...

Hooli,
With 7 fall tests your going to atleast have alot of options on where you want to use those frequent flyer miles

This should be a great fall test season.. lots of opportunities to run or re-run your dog/s. I've got a feeling that by the time this is done.. we may see alot more dogs with their 2x, 3x, or 4xGMPR...

All these tests are going to need volunteers to work them, so find your buddies, your cousins.. whoever to help out if possible..

Keep training.. fall isnt that far away...

The dates are the official dates, someone will post them and the minutes of the meeting to the website as an anouncement soon.. This is an excerpt from the official meeting minutes.. After much discussion on the pros and cons of each test location, dates, judge availability, serving the needs of the membership, high fuel costs etc. the following tests were approved: 8/30, 8/31 & 9/1 Haystack/Bearpoint Kennel Larkspur, CO 9/13 & 9/14 Chase the Adventure Hunt & Gun Club, Decorah, IA 9/20 & 9/21 Cripple Creek Ranch Monroe, WA 9/20 & 9/21 Omega Farms Williamston, MI 9/20 & 9/21 Pheasant Hill Preserve Rileyville, PA 9/27 & 9/28 Rick Hastings Farm Girard, KS 10/11 & 10/12 Three Mile Lake Afton IA The board unanimously approved increased hunt test entry fees due to the increased cost of birds from the suppliers of the fall hunt tests. CPR entry fee has eliminated the hunt test fee and replaced it with a single fee of $80 for chukars or $90 for pheasants or a mix of chukars and pheasants. APR entry hunt test fee is now $115 for chukars or $125 for pheasants or a mix of chukars and pheasants. MPR entry hunt test fee is now $140.
