Congrats to all who passed.

Mike Letteau also had another great test, passing all of the dogs he took to Michigan.

Mike Letteau/John/K&L,

All of these events have individual stories attached to them, and those stories often have some critical defining events. This test was crammed full of those. The master stake was a shining example to any new trainer/ handler of what you could accomplish if you have a very talented dog and work diligently to figure out the advanced training for the hunt test game.

Mike is a great example of this and Ice is part of that story. Ice was rated puppy of the year in Wisconsin NBDCA shoot to retrieve. Mike and John had the task of taking this run-and-gun drag racer and teaching him the controled steadyness and advanced retrieving skills necessary for APLA master. That is a big task, especially given the fact that the dog was simultaneously(and very successfully) running shoot-to-retrieve. They stubbed their toes a few times on the way, and experienced a bit of frustration. Last fall, K&L started racking up some blue ribbons, then this spring in MO, they rocked the house and put the MPR on Ice. A month later, Mike quietly rolls into our Michigan test and goes 3 for 3 in master with some SOLID dog work which included the GMPR for Ice. Mike/John, you are quality guys and it feels great to see your hard work paying off with the huge success you are having on some talented dogs.
