| Hi Kevin:
I know what ya mean. As I write this we are under another severe thunderstorm warning. We have had 17 straight days of rain. I checked and as of today we have had over 17 inches, 10 of that came in the May. Normally we get 17 inches of rain for the year! Every storm has high winds, hail and lots of rain.
The first picture is a tornado that hit Kearney, NE last Thursday. There were actually two tornados on the ground at the same time. The fairgrounds took the biggest hit, the University received little damage.
I live about 22 miles north and a couple miles east of Kearney. That same storm tracked north and the second picture shows a cell that eventually touched down about 1/8 mile north of my house. I took one shot and did not stick around to take any others!
The third picture is of the leading edge of the storm from last evening. Believe it or not it was 5:30 p.m. when I took the photo, you would think it later at night. No tornado but lots of wind and rain.
I just looked at www.weather.com and it shows severe storms for this area until next weekend. Sure could use a break in the action!

Money will buy you a pretty good dog, but it won't buy the wag of his tail. |

| Hehe- Ya- I'll be saying " Go CHIEF" for more then one reason this fall! That is a nice technical pond ya got there for a little while. We got big time storms moving into kc right now. Been marching accross ks all afternoon. Out back right now with a cigar ,some port and the 2BD's catching the breeze as it rolls in. Always did like watching a good storm as it approached. |

Steve:
Are you getting any hail with the storms? If I was in the market for a new car now is the time to start looking. I see ads on our local television channels advertising hail damaged new cars, could probably pick one up for a pretty good price.

| Tonites storms were not so bad-noisy and rain and wind but have not heard of any hail. Over the last several weeks I know some areas got hit by hail and I have heard there are hail sales but not sure where. |

Wow, what awesome pictures! Makes the hair on the back of my neck stand on end..... I don't miss that aspect of the Mid West, or Mid East as I used to call Ohio..... Glad to be back out here in the Pacific NW where those are very uncommon. Another beautiful day in paradise out here. Ashlynn and I are headed North tomorrow to fish the Columbia River for Sturgeon on Sunday. It is a reward for her maintaining a 4.0 gpa through the 8th grade. She has never gotten a B and hopes to continue the trend through High School. Heck I can't beleive that she will be in the 9th grade this fall. Where did my little dog trainer go? I need another pup to bring her back..... :-) Have a good one and keep it safe out there with that weather. Pat
