06/02/2008 11:01 PM Alert

I take dozens of photos almost every time I go out with the family or the dog.  On this trip we were all out.  The kids and wife went one way on the bikes and Bow and I did our walk and a few retrieves at Twin Lakes Sunday evening.

The snow is almost melted enough that we can start looking for grouse.  I'm really looking forward to getting Bow into more birds.

Good looking dog Hobbes, If it's the twin lakes I am thinking about, that water has got to be cold. It must be at about 9,000 feet....

I believe it is at 9,200. I live in Leadville at 10,200. Yes, I would suspect it is cold water, but he doesn't seem to mind. Glad I'm not doing the swimming.
