The rookies from Shade Tree Kennels will be there, we're planning on running Mallard's girlfriend Hanna Banana and Julie should be done with our male from last year's Brew litter Mr. McDuff for their CPR's! Just promise not to laugh, I've never done this before! Any pre-test coaching is appreciated !!

I am planning to run Churchill for his APR, Sean-but we have a duck hunt in Alberta scheduled, so if the test is the weekend of the 20/21, we won't be able to come...

Please!! Please!! Make this test as late in September as you can. We need the trainning time. Cost of fuel will keep us out west this fall instead of running the Kansas test. Our goal for this test is as follows. Four MPR dogs. Four CPR dogs. One of these dogs "is" ready for the APR test now. This could change based on how two of them do in Michigan this weekend.

I'm sure a CPR judge isnt needed to fly from SD, but if it is......I'll volunteer! I'd love to see that part of the country and see some familiar faces.

There is word of a possible test in the Chewelah WA vicinity in August, but it's still up in the air.

Once again, I will not run Casey in a CP test, and we'll be hunting in September.
(No, Hooli, you can't get me to run CP even if you pay my entry fee).

I HOPE THE BOARD WILL SEE THEIR WAY TO THE END OF SEPTEMBER. AUGUST WOULD BE WAY TO EARLY FOR US. IF THAT IS THE ONLY CHOICE THIS FALL FOR THE NORTHWEST. THAT WOULD PUSH US TO THE MIDWEST AGAIN FOR THE TEST. SORRY DOC.

It sounds like this is going to be a great test with lots of dogs to watch. I will work in making the dates to accomidate the majority of people wanting to test there dogs. right now I am looking at two dates the 20th of Sept and the 27th of September. It will all fall on what is best for the judges and being able to get a commitment from two of them. I would love to be able to make it a two day event. Kevin if you show up Ill take you fishing we are going to have a big salmon feed after the test mmmmmmmm

Hey, I have a dog in with Jim Cochran over in Fall City. He wants to run my dog in the Fall Test but, said it was in August. I've signed up with APLA but, can't seem to get any information out of them. Would you shoot me an e-mail if you have any further information on the date/time of the test and how to get signed up? We are also looking to get involved with the local chapter if possible. Thx

Hate to say it, but the new pup will not run in CPR either...............So, I guess that means no APLA once again. .

Well, I am pretty sure the sun will come up the next day, especially if it is hunting season. His dogs will still hunt and reportedly point birds and Doc will be happy with thier performance......

It would be great if he made it to a test someday, but I can see his point.... lol.... He isn't as young as he used to be and he needs to get every day of hunting in he can..... I understand because I still have lots of catching up to get just even with him on # of days hunting every year. If I had to choose between hunting behind my dogs close to home, or heading off to an APLA test, I would hunt every time.

Lets give Doc a break and let him have fun hunting with his dogs. I am even OK with him using the RP (Reported Pointer) title for Casey. Titles mean nothing to Casey. He knows he is a huntin dawg.....
As Jay would say Peace Out.....

Lord may I be half the man that my dogs think that I am!
