I got to attend a training session tonight that blew me away..I started out as a bird boy for a couple of dogs that were trained by Rick Stawrski..these dogs did blinds I couldnt see..we did 2 marks.. one was a memory bird...2 blinds.. and a poison bird..these dogs nailed em...There is a QAA Test this weekend were Danny Farmer, Rick Stawrski, and a couple of other notible trainers/handlers are going to be running in St.Cloud..If I can make it...I'm going to be there watching these dogs.. I got to run Dragon on a couple of "doubles" and one of the guy's that trains with Rick took some pics of Dragon for me..this is a pic of Dragon on a 98 yard double..2nd bird..(We have never tried one this long before)

Sounds like a very good night. That would be so much fun to see really good dogs run. It would be great to see these trainers and their dogs run. That is a great picture of your Dragon.

dunt..

Watching those other dogs was really enjoyable..I dont think I'll ever have one trained that well...but I can dream.

What was also fun is the training set up had stick men, remote wingers, multiple binds,...everybody had on white. etc...for the first time I got to witness first hand on how its all supposed to work..

My next investment is going to be a good digital camera that can take pics like that..my camera the dog would have either been a yellow blur... or I would have missed the dog completely..
