Doc E,
I did see that Scarlet had started spotting. My lack of patients got the best of me and I moved my deposit to another litter. I ended up with a pup out of the last Jake X Magic litter and he is now 5 months old. I believe Scarlet may end up with one of the best litters to come along in some time but I also have expierence with the Jake X Magic litter and am very excited about what my Cody pup is already showing. I wish I had room for a 4th dog on my team however, 3 are keeping me really busy. I am really looking forward to the up coming season and getting the 2 young dogs over to the lodge with my 4yr old. My female (Hope) out of Duke X Comet is almost a year old and doing nice marks and starting to handle really nice. Cody has just started hold and will transition to force in the next couple weeks. I will have Chucker available the 1st of June and will spend most of the summer with upland work. I will be looking for reports on the pups out of the Scarlet litter and who knows maybe in another year I will be able to find room for another pup on the truck.

Hey Diamond 1

What Lodge? I heard that you are not with Sal any more. Also what Jake are you referring too?

Staunch,
Not sure where you get your info from but I'm still with R & R Pheasant Hunting on a part time basis. After retiring from the AF I got a job offer last year that I could not refuse that does not let me guide full time but I still get some long weekends and help Sal when needed. The Jake I'm talking about is ( Sauk River's Featherstorm). According to your signature block Jazz has come a long ways since I saw her at the lodge a couple years ago. Good for you guys!

I'm glad that I'm mistaking, Danny told me at last years Kansas test. Hey sorry to hear about Trix, Watching Jazz and Trix gliding in the upland was quite a site, I'll always remember it. They seem to say to each other "you check there and I'll check here" every time they crossed in front of us. "Two peas in a Pod" Pure magic !!! I read the post many months after you posted it. ---Jerry
