I free roaded Casey this morning. He totally free roaded for 4+ miles. I then had him SIT and I drove away. When I was 1/4 mile away from him I gave him the HERE command --- and here he came!. I was driving 21 mph ----- he gained on me and when I took this pic, he was passing me, so I figure he was going at least 22+ mph. Not bad for an 8 year old dog (Who has been on supplements since the day he came to our home ).

Doc ,I can run Jedi at 28 and barbs girl Chelsea runs at 32 MPH! She should have been a greyhound! She can keep up with the Jacks we have out here, and they can run! Rosco use to run 28 too but has slowed to 20 at 7 years old! Casey looks like he is alittle competitive? He looks like he wants to be in front!!

He always wants to be in front. I don't know if that came from training or if it's just how he is.
Casey's top end is 28 mph (but not for very long).

What I found interesting was the placement of the feet. Much different than what I thoght I saw with the naked eye.

Im not sure how fast my PL's can run, but I do know they have no problem keeping up with me on the lawn mower.

LeRoy - not to do with roading a dog but what's the scorecard on Birdie's pups? Interesting to note that Sunday a.m. when Mallard and Hanna were busy making more pups, Birdie was having Mallard pups! The string of champions continues. Congrats!
