Request for Spring Hunt Test Applications - Tuesday, December 23, 2008
The APLA hunt test committee is calling for spring hunt test applications The application's due date is January 20th. The application form is found under the EVENTS tab, then click on the HUNT TEST tab, and then down load the application form. Complete the form as fully as possible. Don't be concerned with your judges until applications are approved and date is set. New Directors for 2009-2010 - Friday, November 14, 2008
Election ballots for the 3 open directors for 2009 through 2010 have been counted. Congratulations to Bruce Smiley, Troy Callanan, and Vic Rompa as our new directors. Everyone give then a warm welcome for volunteering their time.

Thanks guys, I sure am proud of my boy Duke! He is showing a lot of talent for only being 18 months old. I would like to thank Frank Fraquelli for helping me with his blind work and Dale for all his training. We couldn't have done it with out them.
Way to go Dale and Diesel on your master pass and congrats to all those who also passed.
Hope to see many of you at the Michigan test! |

Oh no. The Michigan Mafia strikes again. I'm not sure, but I think they are taking over as the performance epicenter for PL's. They drive in with dark glasses, quietly and in the dark of night. They don't talk much, then they watch what the other handlers do, eat a sandwhich, step in and make a big showing, driving off with their ribbons into the darkness back to the Big M.
When are you guys coming out here? Ski for a day, run your dogs and do a little high altitude hunt? We'd love to have you!

Julie, you are forgeting that those sandwiches were three days old, the potato chips in the truck were stail and the pop was flat.
The boys drove twelve hours home and there were three of them cramed into Dale's truck.

| If it's to be the Michigan Mafia,it will have to go up for a vote,as Julie coined that.I have called us the Michigan Pale Rider Outlaws,since someone asked,Who are these Michigan guys with these outlaw dogs anyways?
