We will be meeting at Glendorado Game Farm located in Princeton MN (30 miles east of St. Cloud)(same as last year) on Saturday April 12th. Arrive around 8 to 8:30. We'll start hunting at 9am. Pheasants are $13.50 apiece. We have 2 fields reserved in the morning, one for training and one for hunting (just like last year). We will have lunch (deep fried turkey) and business meeting in banquet room. Bring a side dish to share. If anyone wants to hunt after lunch there should be some fields available. More info can be found at the MNPLC web site: www.mnpointinglabs.com You do not need to be a MNPLC member to attend. Come on out and meet your fellow PL enthusists. Jay

We are going to try and run a mock CPR test as well, so anyone thinking of running your dog for their CPR in the spring Wisconsin test, here's your chance to do a practice run.

btw..I dont believe we have access to chukars, just rooster pheasants.

Jeff P come on and join us....you would be more than welcome.

Thanks Stuw. I saw you are from Nisswa on another forum. Family has a cabin up there on Lower Cullen. Maybe I will run into you this summer. I know the new pup is going to love the lake.

New Pup is coming from Colin Schmaltz. They are listed in the classifieds here. Mother (Contessa of Sauk River) is out of SR's Jake and the Sire is Cashman's Jimmy. My Last dog came with my wife when I met her (package deal). A dog aggressive GSP that was a couch dog. I am excited to start from scratch.

Hey guys,
It would be nice to come and watch what you guys have done with your dogs but unfortunately I will be putting some new windows in. Like Jeff we do not yet have our pup. I am guessing we will get ours in August depending on when the breeding actually happens. She will be coming out of Sauk River.

Eagle, I saw the forecast for the weekend and it is no good for putting in windows, much better for running dogs. There are a number of us that have Sauk River dogs. David is a class act all the way. Hope to see you at some events this summer. Jeff, Definetly stop by. Be sure to bring a gun and some orange. We can always use some extra gunners in the field. Jay

Yes, it looks like we are in for another blast of winter. As long as the dogs like to run through the snow it sounds like it will be nice and cool for running. Glad to hear so many good things about Sauk River. I can hardly wait to meet some of you guys.

Alex, they are not yet bred but I have female pick deposit on Hawk/Nala. I know neither of these two young dogs are titled yet but some pretty impressive pedigrees attached to both. David showed me Hawk on a bird and his point was solid. I am hoping this will be a quality litter.
