Request for Spring Hunt Test Applications - Tuesday, December 23, 2008
The APLA hunt test committee is calling for spring hunt test applications The application's due date is January 20th. The application form is found under the EVENTS tab, then click on the HUNT TEST tab, and then down load the application form. Complete the form as fully as possible. Don't be concerned with your judges until applications are approved and date is set. New Directors for 2009-2010 - Friday, November 14, 2008
Election ballots for the 3 open directors for 2009 through 2010 have been counted. Congratulations to Bruce Smiley, Troy Callanan, and Vic Rompa as our new directors. Everyone give then a warm welcome for volunteering their time.

Peptech Animal Health will have available next year; Suprelorin.  "The 'pill' prevents dogs from having pups and restrains testosterone driven aggressive behavior in males."  This is an implant, and works for either 6 or 12 months.  I will be putting in my request for the "anti-screw you" pill for my female when she is in heat, that way I can actually accomplish something during training in her next heat.

these pills might be a good way of allowing breeders to have pups at the right time of year. I would assume that after 6 months the dog will come into heat short after, maybe it could be used as a menstraul timer.
