| You may have mastered some of the basic tricks of Google, but most people use only about 3 percent of this search engine’s available power.
There are lots of Google search guides that detail the more common tips, but this site has compiled a long list of truly interesting and useful Google Map searches.
Do you want to find a WiFi hotspot? Track world terrorism? Calculate Canadian taxi fare? Explore any location on earth?
Those are just a few of the many, many things you can do with Google Maps mashups! Click the link below for a list of 100 possibilities ... although there are many more.
To learn more about how to use more of the seemingly endless features of Google, try this online Google tutorial. You can spend anywhere from one-half to eight hours looking through it depending on how many sections you elect to skip, and how many of the examples and problems you work through. But you’re sure to learn some new way to use Google that you didn’t know was there before.
