Another trip to the vet on a major holiday for one of my dogs!!!! Yesterday (Thanksgiving) we took a nice liesurly stroll down the road with the dogs. As we reached the bottom of the drive, I noticed something red on Cricket's chest. She peeled back a rather large chunk of skin on the barbed wire fence.

I took her home and tried to fix her up myself (put a few staples in her), but I couldn't get them to hold it closed. She stood there and took it like a champ! Paged the vet and had him stitch her up.

Some of you might remember a couple of years ago, Mav had surgery to remove a rock from his intestine...ON EASTER MORNING!!!!

I'm not sure what it is about my dogs, but they seem to always need medical attention on major holidays!!! I went ahead and made an appointment to have her stitches removed on CHRISTMAS MORNING!!!!!

Rob
