I got an email from the place I went pheasant hunting last fall...They are going to have a 4night..3 day pheasant hunt near Pierre So Dakota...21 bird limit....you can bring your own dog...they have great kennels...the dates are towards the end of march...

This is an all inclusive hunt..at a 5 star resort...but everything..and I mean everything is included..even the shells..and guns if you dont want to bring yours...they have a great sporting clays course also

It is a preserve...but the birds arent planted or dizzy'd in anyway...and there are lots of them....(3000 acres to hunt)

Its a bit spendy....$2000.00 per person..plus tax...but its a great spot..food is out of this world...and it would get you out with your dog one more time...

I'm not sure if I can give the website..or email address on this site or not..so you can email me if interested...or if its ok...I'll post the direct info...

"It's a bit spendy"
.....that would be a huge understatement for me.

"and it would get you out with your dog one more time..."
....before the divorce.

I'll have to jugle a few stocks around, but I think I can come up with six or eight bucks before my wife started catching on to me.

Do cigars and brandy come with it?

Or is it Bud Lite and a can of Kodiak?

Its more like Cognac and cigars...the bar is all top shelf...comes complete with a bottomless glass............at no extra charge

Jim...I know your retired....and on a fixed income...but think of the dogs...they really need to get out of the house and chase some birds

I doubt I'll be able to make this hunt.....but it really is alot of fun....

(this aint ruffin it boys....)

DDcalls...it would be the perfect honeymoon...for a couple that got married in a duck blind...your sweetie will love it...

I'm going to post the website...and if thats not ok with the management..they can take it down...

I was just joking with you- and that sounds like you got a pretty awesome deal out of the remolding job!!

I made the mistake of showing Brianna the website. That is probably about opposite of everything I think of when hunting comes to mind- but what an awesome place to bring a beginner… professional shooting instructions, sporting clays (which why waste time on that when you can be practicing on real birds), and the accommodations. I was going to try and talk one of you big shots into bringing Bre out there, but no way!! If I made the mistake of letting her out there, I doubt I’d ever get her to join me for a hard days hunt ever again! so I take back that comment about it being a great place for a begginer to go.

I do a hunt every year that includes 10 guys ... 1000 birds for $1500 per man everything included....SD is getting too money hungry...this hunt most people shoot at least 1/2 case of shells....I'll keep you posted on the ' 06 hunt

So if had a couple of grand burning a hole in my "camo", duck hunting in Mexico or Argentina for five days would be more to my gunning tastes.  However, if I were "hung up" on taking my dogs, then two trips to Canada during peak duck season would be way more fun than pheasants anytime.

But that's just me........I mean no money!

That is a little spendy for my wallet.

For the price of that trip I could hunt for 3.5 weeks in north dakota, if I go to the right area I could hunt pheasants at the same time.

If I was affluent I am sure I could work that trip in though after a mexico trip
