I'm back!!! I just finished all of my training at the new job, bought a house, finished the basement and got married! I have Oct. 18 - 31st off. I think me and Zo-Zo are in. I will doulble check and let you know. If there is still room... |

Hey guys. I live and hunt in SD all around the state and also make a couple of trips to Iowa, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. My first fall in SD my female kept getting sore feet and would lick them all night long and had some tenderness. So I had to find something. I found that to prevent foot soreness I use Tuf Foot. It is a liquid available at a lot of sporting goods stores. Start now and apply daily. Then after a few weeks just put it on a couple times a week. I don't often tell people to use specific products but this sure worked for me. No sore feet at all last year and when everyone else's dogs feet were cracking in the winter months, my dog was running circles around them.  Good luck

Justin-start now giving your dog a 50mg zinc tablet with her food-you can get them in any drug store. They are cheap-give one to her every day. It will help thicken up her pads. |

Last year was my first time to south dakota and when they say it is the pheasant hunting capital of the world their not exaggerating. Booked for Nov. 1st hunt this year can't wait. Last year we were there Nov. 14 hunting pheasants in the snow what a treat that was. Birds hold nice in the snow for the dogs.

Still fired up! Zoie has been running and some work. She has been on Zinc for a while and new boots for her fat feet. A buddy of mine has family in SD and said that the birds are carzy in numbers. I would go now if I could... |

Yes, I am running them every day, plus putting them on birds, There pads are looking good.  They should be primed for SD...... I know I am We were headed to the fun hunt for our HRC in Cheyenne this morning, it was canceled due to snow.... They closed I-25 and 85 to the Wyoming border,So i could not have drove there anyway, Wimpy State Patrol, we only have 4 inches.....  |
