Part way down you'll see a paragraph labeled "Participation." There are two links from that paragraph - "request a kit" and "email us." Click on "email us" to send a message to the principal investigator - Dr. Mark Neff. Tell him you've asked for a kit but not received one. Ask him whether he wants more PL samples.

If the APLA would collect samples at tests - from dogs clearly really pointing - and submit them, the sample size might get large enough that Dr. Neff could go on with his work. He was interested when I suggested a way to get a bunch of wolf DNA samples. I'm not sure what's up with the PL (and general pointing) study.

Jere; Not sure why but I never recieved the kits I ordered anyone had that problem?

Apparently, at least two other folks here are in the same boat. I don't know what's going on. I communicated with the PI recently about the availablility of some wolf DNA samples he might be interested in. he didn't say anything about a lagging interest in the PL part of the overall study of the genetic basis for pointing...

I ordered mine and got them within a 2 week period. Took the samples and sent them right back.
