Bumping this up-if you are going to test your dog(s) for PRA, this is the test you need. You can send blood or cheek swabs. PRA IS IN THE GENE POOL OF POINTING LABS. It is passed on in the same way that EIC and CNM can be passed on-one gene is a carrier, two is affected. Dogs who have PRA go blind around 7 years of age. Please consider testing your dogs.
