Here is an input from a recent HT Sec. The Data base is not ready for titles to be included. Right now from what I can tell the title either before or after the real name would be part of the same field. This makes the task difficult when doing the leg work of a test to find the dog. Later as the data base grows it will become riduculous! The name needs to be simply that-The original name. The data base then needs to have additional fiields for titles before and after the name similair to good dog info, That way we as workers can find the dog easily and the titles can be carried along as deemed necessary. At this point I would like to see ALL TITLES stripped from the dog name fields and certainly no more included until this aspect is fixed.

I agree with Steve The titles would better serve futor tests and those working to keep the records correct if the titles are set in a separate field.

I'm not sure this is "database" news, but while researching pedigrees on the internet I noticed some breeders have confused the pedigrees of two dogs who have very similar names: Tiger Mountain Miss Molly and Tiger Mountain's Miss Molly. From what I can figure, the prior came from a Duke of South Shore X Golden Springside breeding and the latter from Houston Creek's Shadow X Star Valley Sadie. What confuses even more is that Tiger Mountain's Miss Molly was bred to Duke of South Shore. Anyway, some breeders have either misspelled the dog's name or recorded the wrong lineage, I cannot tell which. With such similarity in spelling, it sure seems like an easy mistake to make.

I have corrected your dogs.  The database indicates that Peyton's name is "Bear Point Peyton of Ruffwinds".  Should the Bear Point be all one word?  How is it spelled on her papers?

I have updated Black Diamond to APR, I did have a record of the passing test result. 

Cattail Kate is listed, but there is no apostrophe in Mtns.  She is listed as Shadown Mtns Cattail Kate.  Please advise on spelling corrections.  Please email me directly at sandy@sandyabernathy.com for a prompt response.
