Daisy and I left the house at 11 am Friday morning, and the temperature was 8ºF with a wind chill of -2ºF. Could not get many geese to commit and a lot were flying......only had ten decoys out. After looking at the pictures, I will change a few things......including the X.
Daisy picked up the first goose at 1 pm and the second at 2:20 pm. Home at 3:15 and it was warmer.....temperature 12ºF and a wind chill of +3ºF.
There will be a temporary heat wave today.....in the thirties with high winds and rain starting mid-morning. Northern Illinois is......
