Kansas City Area - GO CHIEF !

Been gettn' it done in ks! Just had to put up a Cletis pic holding a rooster Later after getting my 1st ever Prairie Chicken I attempted to get a pic of Chief holding it! Well that little stinker just would not cooperate , he woiuld look away and seemd just plain wired so I got to thinking what the hey and proceeded to load him back up in the kennel (with agrrevation on my behalf apparent) and low and behold I had sat the little stinker down right in a nest of sand burrs! And I mean big time!! They were stuck on his butt and on his jewels and up and down the back of his legs and tail and in his pads! Man I felt bad and got pretty torn up myself just pulling them out. So later when we got home I pulled up a chair so he could watch the cleaning of the birds-A ritual that used to belong to the old man, but I think the youngster earned it. But then-true to form when I was done and had turned my back the little $hIt grabbed a breast out of the bowl! Oh my little stinker.

Steve,
Now that is funny, guess he paid you back!!!

Glad you got out and got into some birds, even if the boy didn't cooperate for the first pictures. He is looking good in the chair plotting his revenge! Fresh, clean breast, awe good!
Keep on getting it done.
Pat

Cletis is pushing 12. Still has the most unbelieveable nose, but the arthritus is really slowing him down. His time has come and gone.
