This is my 10yr old daughter "Annie" with her first ducks ever! I think she likes the breakfasts better though! The bottom picture is of my middle son Jake and some of his ducks. They were all retrieved by a son of Goose Creeks Holy Smoke. We have had a good start to the year! Good luck to everyone!

Didn't your dog hear that PL's have lost the ability to retrieve due to them being bred to bring out the point?

You're right Doc....you caught us!! What really happened is this...the kids shot the birds...our dog pointed this out to me so I swam out and fetched the ducks. I don't mind doing this until the water gets really cold...than I have to dawn the full wetsuit including scuba fins. The fins help me chase those cripples down faster. All the while the "Pointing Lab" sits in the blind and eats pancakes with the kids! Please don't let any of the bonafide retriever folks know about this as it could set us PL folks back a little!
