There were only 3 of us last year but we had a great time.  I think we need to get strated on this trip a bit earlier this year and hear a lot less excusses on not going.  Who is interested?  Take care and see you all soon.

I am new here, is this an open hunt trip for any member of APLA?
I take it this is a January hunt since it is posted 2009? A few more details may get more replies... No sarcasim intended..
I never even looked at it since the topic started out with RMPLC, I don't know what that abreviates so I did not look on...

We went last year and hunted public land, stayed in winner,in December the birds were really spooky, but we seen thousands of them, we had a blast up there, I would be up for a december trip too!! And yes you are welcome to join us, if we go in december we will need alot of people and dogs to corner these birds!

The bird numbers are a record high this year. Should be a great year. I live a few hours east of Winner but it sounds like fun. Could probably talk me dad into letting you guys hunt on some of our ground if you would be interested.

Kevin,
The MO NZ duck opener is that same week. If you go on a second run in the late season, december some time, I would be interested in joining you. I only have the one dog, not the gaggle like you, but I may be able to round up another shooter to even up the shooter/dog ratio. Let me know if you go later in the year as well.

I wish I could go AWOL but I would come back to no job. During school there are no sick days or time off, I just have to stick it out for this year and it should be better in the future. Good luck to you guys and let me know how it goes.
