Camelcluch, the hunt was ok, Gary Buys stoped out and helped us out with our dogs, but it was really windy So a little bit more of a training session than a hunt We let some fly, Had a hawk kill 1 rooster and go after another! All in all I think the dogs did great! |

I had a great time. It was fun to get out and see some great dog work. Kevin should be very proud of his two and Gary has a really good young dog in Jesse. All in all it was a good day despite the high winds (and cold). Thanks again Kevin and thank you to Gary for the training tips.

P.S. And thanks Kevin for not mentioning that the rooster that the hawk got was one that Maverick bumped!!! |

How was the cover guys? Was it knocked down from the snow? Was there snow on the ground?
Vic, Tom and I were going to go out Sunday, but cancel because of the above conditions.

Good pix! I will have to try and get out with you guys. If anyone wants, we can go to Kiowa Creek for a training season. They only allow two guns for that but the fields are good and some left over birds may pop up. |
