Joe,
I'm sure he was the stud muffin to see. Got any photos of him?
I always just tell people my dogs are all orange colored pit bull crosses with something or another cowdogs! They can take down the biggest bulls in the pen. They look at me a little strange. It is good to keep them guessing and maybe just a little bit concerned. |

Those are some amazing action shots! On one of those it looks like you can actually see the shot as it penetrates the bird! |

Those are some of the best action shots I have ever seen! You have a true talent with the camera! I can almost here the gun going off in a couple of those.....just beautiful! The only better picture that I can think of would be one with there little legs sticking up from the crock-pot......simmering in gravy! Oooooh Ya! |

What kind of camera is taking those pics? They are very nice and a taxidermist can use them in our work. We do alot of ref. study when putting together a mount. They are very important in getting a natural pose. |

I still use an Olympus C-2100. By today's standards it is, well, challenged for anything but computer display being only a 2.1 MP machine. But, and this is why I mention it at all, it IS image stabilized. I strongly urge anyone even remotely serious about long telephoto work to skimp and save and go IS. This camera, at maximum magnification (27x) hand held produces sharp images where a non-IS unit would produce nothing but a blure...
Deke, can you turn off the IS on that canon lens and shoot a few shots to illustrate the difference? |

Jere I will take some shots as soon as Deke recovers and I can get out. The season is over but we have a pond the town keeps open for the ducks so I should be able to take shots with and without the Image Stabilizer. |
