Anyone else having issues trying to send or reply to a PM?  I have received system errors when I tried to reply last night and this morning to PMs that I had received.  Just wanted to see if I am the only one with issues.

I guess the APLA doesn't have enough money to upgrade this forum to the level of ALL OTHERS that I visit.

There's a big difference between "being down" and not working well in nearly all aspects.

When I try to edit my signature, I get :

Server Error in '/site' Application.

Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint 'PK_DnnForge_PrivateMessages_UserSettings'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'dbo.DnnForge_PrivateMessages_UserSettings'.
The statement has been terminated.

Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

Exception Details: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint 'PK_DnnForge_PrivateMessages_UserSettings'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'dbo.DnnForge_PrivateMessages_UserSettings'.
The statement has been terminated.

That is ABSOLUTELY correct. It is something that needs addressed but there is no short term answer to the reality that [at this point] the APLA does not have adequate financial reserves to dedicate the amount of money it would take to completely re-do the web site. Nor is there necessarily a need to completely re-do it. Doing a business analysis on web site capabilities, cost, functionallity, is on the web committees agenda this year. We need to take a good hard look at what functions and does not function and what our resources are to change it.

Another thing to keep in mind is that this was created by volunteer members and maintenance still relies on volunteer members. That creates situations where we are not paying someone to continally monitor data usage and whether we are approching maximums on our capacity and therefore we need to deal with issues when they arise. That was a reality created by how we established the APLA cost structure. I have a post pending in the next few days regarding the larger issue of funding for this organization that will be posted in the members section but this is just one issue (web) that effects.

We should all commend Rion for all the time he has spend with this site in creating and maintaining it for us. Again, we will be doing a full blown analysis on what our options are to move forward with it this year.

I just sent a PM response and it seemed to go through. So perhapse it has been addressed already. UPDATE - If I reply without quotes it goes through with quotes it hangs up and errors out.
