PL's represented well at Kankakee this weekend. We had three young PL's title HR and I think all have been perfect in HRC tests so far. It was a hot, hot weekend down in that marsh and we are all a few lb's lighter between the heat and the mosquitos.
Congrats Dale Swiderski with 4/4 in Finished with the two yellow boys [GMPR's] Kenai and Rooster. Didn't get to watch but I hear they were really solid as usual.
Up and coming young dogs:
Frank Farquelli got wet Saturday with CP Rondo's HR title
Jon Cart got wet on Sunday with CP Breeze's HR title
I had my first HRC bath on Sunday with GMPR Cruz's HR title having gone 4/4. Also got another Seasoned pass on my "special needs child" Yeager.
John Cruger got passes on CP Gunner in his first Seasoned run. Nice job John, amateure and first dog.
All these dogs were really sharp this weekend, smacked the tests and are well on their way to Finished transition. We will see Rondo, Breeze and Cruz running MPR this fall and stepping up to Finished. Gunner will be running APR and finishing out his HR.
Briefly met Greg Scott and his dog CP, HR Brandy running Finished. Hope they did well.

Good to see so many APLA members at our test. I was working the Seasoned test all weekend so I
did not get a chance to see the others run. Please PM me with any comments on what you really
liked about the tests, dinner, facilities etc. and suggestions for improvement. |

John it was a good test, my first there but people I talked to seem to really like that test every year so your club must be doing something right.
Again, compliments on your training on Gunner, he is really coming along. Look forward to seeing him in Michigan.

It went about as good as any HRC test. Great grounds and people. Thats a nice lookin dog you have there John. |
