I recently wrote Eagle Pack concerning whether they had changed the formula, ingredients or recipe for the Power Formula since the purchase of the company. Looks like I'll stick with it.
Here is their response :

"Dear Dwight:

Thank you for taking the time to write about Eagle Pack power dog food.

The power formula has not changed but we are making some changes to the packaging and product that you will see on the market soon. They are similar changes to the changes we have made in our Holistic Select line. We are refreshing the Eagle Pack® packaging, we also are updating some of the recipes to ensure that every ingredient inside the bag performs a function to truly provide whole-body health benefits for your pet. For example, we removed bacillus coagulins from all dry recipes, as they are proven to not survive well from the food to the pet's digestive tract.

We also removed unnecessary ingredients including added Salt from all adult dog dry and canned recipes, Inositol from the dry dog recipes and Phylloquinone (Vitamin K) from the dry cat recipes. Glucosamine was removed from Large and Small Breed Puppy Recipes to meet AAFCO claims.

On the packaging, you will find that we reordered the vitamins and minerals, grouping them together in an effort to make it easier for you to read. And, since natural ingredients may shift in nutrient levels over time, we tightened our Guaranteed Analysis levels to be sure we are always delivering within our label claims.

Aside from these minor enhancements for the benefit of your pet, rest assured these are the same high-quality recipes for which Holistic Select is known.

Thanks again for contacting us.
