There was a post on the pointing lab forum a few years ago that the title was "Chocolabs don't fulfill registration" or something to that nature.  I am working with Larry to get paperwork in order for all the puppies that came from his kennel.  If you have a dog that came from Chocolabs and want papers, email me and I will get the process started for you.

Thanks,
Michael Liebrum

Way to go Mike, Im sorry your kennel got the bad wrath by taking over the name of Larrys kennel. Good luck to all on finally getting their registrations.

Michael,

I just now found your posting from this past June or I would have written much sooner. I have a puppy from Larry that I would love to get the papers for. Here is the story: Larry took a chocolate male and a female from a June 26th, 2001 litter sired by my chocolate male UH MRCH MHR Clays Camo Buddy MH WC who passed away 4 years ago today. I currently have a wonderful yellow male 'Sage' from that same litter. Larry bred the chocolate female to one of his males and I had pick of that litter born October 18th, 2006. That chocloate male, 'Amigo', now 4 years old is a wonderful dog but I have no papers for him. I am writing all of this from memory at work and I have all the names and other information at home.
Would you please write and tell me if there is any way that you will be able to work with Larry to get the papers for Amigo. I think that Larry will remember me because I was the owner of 'Camo'.
Thank you so much for any help that you may be able to offer. I had pretty much given up hope of anything ever being able to be done.
You may call me on my cell at 303-856-8857 or email me.
Sincerely,
Stan Snyder

Unfortunately this did not turn out as I had hoped. I guess I should have known better than to believe this was even possible. After several great email conversations with Larry, he disappeared again. So sorry to get your hopes up about registration. I will let you know if he contacts me again.
