OK Marlana, since you asked....here's our newest addition.   Caught in the act, apparently she's learned to get on the couch by herself!   Not sure what her registered name will be yet.  I'm leaning toward STK's Super Quiver.   Troy, you said you'd come up with a good name for her.  Help!  She's 11 weeks old.  Out of 3.5x GMPR Quivern' In The Mist MH and 1.5x GMPR Cashman's Super Trooper MH.   And boy, is she something.   I think the smartest pup we've had, absolutely loves getting in the water, is great at marks and retrieves and not afraid to run with the big dogs.   Thank you so much Brad, we absolutely love her.

She is a doll! Brad knows how to breed a good dog, that's for sure. You've got a fun summer ahead of you!

Marlana,

Don't mean to side track this post, but I thought I'd let you know that Points South Lady Kristtorn, "Kristi", a pup from the Churchill and Points South Trixie breeding is leaving for training next weekend. She will be spending her time at ZigZag Kennels with Charity and Tim Ziegler.

She's 6 months old Friday and very much a puppy. I've had her out to chase some birds and she has done very nicely, even under some pretty dry and windy conditions. All indications is she has a great nose.

Loves the water and loves to play even more. I'll post a picture as soon as I figure out how.

Rick, if you go to the Post titled "Got New Puppy" by Birdboy96, 2BlackDogs gave us instruction on how to post pictures. I've been trying forever too and when I would get the error messages I would just quit. I printed them out and as you can see, got the picture of Quiver to post. And thanks 2BlackDogs for unlocking the secret of picture posting!

Julie,

I forgot that I was going to try to come up with a name for you.  I'm trying to get creative, and so far I've only got one.  I'm trying to combine "Trooper" and "Quiver", and thinking that you probably drove past the Little Bighorn National Monument on the trip to get your pup.  So how about "STK's Custer's Demise", call name "Arrow".  Although Custer actually died from gunshots...

I'll keep working on it.  Great picture

You might have come up with a winner Troy.  Steve's been trying since we brought her home to find an Indian word for Quiver and/or Spot (she's got that black spot on her neck) and has emailed about 40 tribes now without any replies.   He wanted an Indian word or words to link her to Quiver and the Dakota's.  This may just be it!  Anyone else have any idea's?   It's a puppy naming contest!   She's about as fast as an arrow although lately I think "She Who Steals Socks" or "Dog Who Run With Underpants" fits her better.   She's a wild one!

Here are some Lakota translations:

Arrow - Wahin Kpe
Quiver - Wanju
Crazy - Witko Tko Ke
Fast - Oha Ko
Dog - Suka

Couldn't find anything for Dakota or spot.

Julie-I have a tough time with "official" dog names...I do like "Arrow" for a call name-fast, straight, deadly

STK's Arrow from Trooper's Quiver?
