Well folks the test is going well! Gunned for CPRB - they are doing water now. 8 of 15 dogs that ran were carried to the water in CPR-B and I heard that 12 of 16 that ran in CPR-A were carried. Here are some pics from CPR-B.

Wow. those are some nice pictures, I like the those points.

Max doesn't run until tomorrow in APR, but I do or would like to know how Browns Mojo Cutter "Cutter" handled by Mr. Tom McCool did in CPRB today. That is Max's brother from same litter, had a choice between him and Max and chose Max.

It was an EXTREMELY long day. Saw the Moon Set and the Sunrise and the Moon rose again well before the sunset! Last MPR dog was done at 7:20pm and yes there was flame coming out of the old browning double as those last couple birds met their destiny. Gunned for 15 CPRs and then when I thought I was done ended up gunning for 12 MPR that made it to the upland.  Tomorrow we do it all over again...somehow!
Here are a few pics...

Here are the photos from the awards ceremony. All the dogs that made it thru mpr got GMPR
awards.

Mike at K&L ran 8 Dogs and took 6 ribbons.

I went to the test today to watch Mike from K&L run my 9 month old pup Val. She did pretty well and passed the CPR in Flight-A. The test ran smoothly and the grounds were great as far as I was concerned. Mike did a great job handling Val and obviously a great job preparing her in the short time she was with him. It is seems to me he enjoys both the dogs and what he does and it shows. He had much success today. I would not hesitate sending him my dog in the future!

I also got the pleasure of watching the Masters land and water and was impressed with the talent. I hope Val has the ability to get to that level some day. Thanks to Steve, Jeff, the judges, and all the volunteers and APLA members who put this test together. Everyone was friendly and made me and my sone feel welcome.

Cool Pics Steve.

Congrats to all that recieved ribbons yesterday good luck to all those running today.

Steve, you said you gunned for 12 MPR.  Was that the total MPR that went to upland on Saturday?

Wish I could have come out.

Doug - good luck today with Patti.

I see Mike is still sporting the "Don King" hat.  At least its a good color match

The Fadling's had a great time - big thanks go to Russ for handling Buster in APR - the little rocket got it done!

Big thank you to Steve, the APR Judges, Carl and Joe, and thank you to the land owner for his and his family's generosity to APLA.  A lot of hard work and organizing goes into these events.  Our weather was perfect Sunday.  I had a great time marshalling, no heeling stick needed, and what a great way to meet all the handlers and see all of the dogs run.

Happy Hunting!
